Ojciec Gerard County CSSp został mianowany biskupem Kingstown na wyspie Saint Vincent i Grenadines. Biskup elekt urodził się w Trynidadzie i Tobago w 1960, złożył profesję wieczystą w 1994, święcenia przyjął w 1996. Pełnił w Zgromadzeniu różne funkcje będąc w Meksyku, był ekonomem i dyrektorem grup młodzieżowych, proboszczem parafii Św.            AMERICA/SAN VICENTE Y LAS GRANADINAS - Nombramiento del obispo de Kingstown Ciudad del Vaticano (Agencia Fides) ? El Santo Padre Francisco, el 22 de diciembre de 2015, ha nombrado obispo de la diócesis de Kingstown (Saint Vincent and the Grenadines) al Rev. P. Gerard County, C.S.Sp., anterior Superior Provincial de los PP. Espiritanos en México. El nuevo obispo nació en Trinidad y Tobago, en las Antillas, el 15 de diciembre de 1960. Frecuentó la escuela primaria y secundaria en Woodbrook, en las Archidiócesis de Port of Spain, luego trabajó en el sector bancario, ocupando el papel de directivo. Entró en el Noviciado de los Padres Espiritanos (C.S.Sp.) en Port of Spain, realizando los votos temporales el 9 de septiembre de 1991. Completó sus estudios filosóficos y teológicos en el Seminario Regional de St. John Maria Vianney en Trinidad y Tobago. El 9 de septiembre de 1994 realizó la Profesión Perpetua y fue ordenado sacerdote el 21 de enero de 1996. Después de la ordenación sacerdotal, fue enviado a la Provincia de los PP. Espiritanos en México, donde ha ocupado los siguientes cargos: 1996-2009: Varios oficios en su Congregación en México, entre los cuales Ecónomo y Director de Pastoral Juvenil; 2002-2009: Párroco de San David Roldan Lara en la Diócesis de Tampico; 2009-2015; Superior Provincial en México.
